Back On Track!

Please listen to this 30 second WSAR Radio spot. Thank you!

In 24 hours, the results of the election will be in. We spent another long day canvassing and met some really great people again today. I could spend the next 24 hours analyzing issues and ideas (there is so much more to discuss), but I am really proud of my campaign and I think I’ve done all that I could to deliver my message. I trust the voters and I am trusting the process. Tomorrow will be another day of meeting the good people of this community. What will be will be. I hope everyone has a great evening and we will see you all tomorrow! I respectfully ask for your vote, for me, Holly McNamara, for Somerset Selectman, tomorrow April 8th (polls 12-8pm at SBRHS). Let’s get Somerset back on track! Thank you!

Thank you Kim Duddy Michaud!

Thank you Jamison Souza! I’ll never forget the first conversation we had about running for office 8 years ago! I am so incredibly grateful for your friendship!

A note from Holly, April 3, 2024:
Twenty-seven years ago today. It still feels like yesterday. 💔🪽
Everything that I do in life, I try to make my late father proud. Running for office isn’t just about an election for me; it means to much more than that, and is deeply rooted in my love for the community here in Somerset.
As we come down to the final days of this election, I always remember my dad and what he taught me. He impacted so many lives in a positive way and helped anyone who crossed his path. He taught me to be humble and kind, but most of all to fight for what is right. He loved teaching, giving back, and he loved this town. He taught me to love our community and to try to better it each and every day.
My parents raised me right here in this community. Our community has impacted my family and myself, and I cherish the memories of my upbringing here in Somerset. Not many people in the world have what we have, right here in our backyard. We are so lucky. Which is why I want to continue to fight for our community and to speak the truth even if it is not the most popular thing to do.
I wish so much that my dad could physically be here to be part of everything we do; but I know he is here in spirit.
We all love and miss you, dad. I’m going to continue to “step out of my comfort zone” and will keep pushing forward to continue to do right by you and by the community that meant so much to you.😇🤍🪽

From Holly: “Thank you, George Austin and The Sentinel, for this feature article! Equally as important is to complete the Prysmian permitting process so that they can overcome the hurdles and state appeals imposed by my opponent’s special interest groups. These appeals have delayed the project significantly and have delated all major tax revenue to the town. I am happy to see that after years of opposition, my opponent is finally starting to come around during this election season. I would be honored to have your vote, for me, Holly McNamara, for Somerset Selectmen, this coming Monday, April 8th. Thank you! #VoteWisely #April8” (click here for article)

Sign holding, coffee and donuts! Please join us this Saturday April 6th from 9-10am for donuts, coffee, and conversation. This will be followed by sign holding from 10am-12pm at the corner of Buffinton and County St. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

This is the video I had produced when I first ran for office. We accomplished a significant amount of headway in the five years I was in office. My values and vision are still consistent with this video. I hope it helps the voters get to know me better. Thank you.
